Westorchard celebrated Lunar New Year with an exciting assembly featuring a vibrant lion dance. Students gained a deeper appreciation for the cultural significance of this festive occasion!

Our middle school students participated in advisory lessons focused on an understanding of the Holocaust and antisemitism. Each grade level had a different experience, supported by their social studies curriculum, in recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Book-O-Ween returns to Roaring Brook with costumes, creativity, and community spirit. Roaring Brook Elementary School once again hosted its beloved Book-O-Ween event, where students and staff came together to celebrate the magic of literature in the most creative way possible—by dressing as their favorite book characters! From Officer Buckle and Hermione Granger to Marcy Watson and Cat in the Hat, the halls were filled with beloved literary figures.

After reading Because of the Rabbit by Cynthia Lord, our fourth-grade students were inspired to spread positivity and kindness throughout Roaring Brook School. They painted colorful rocks adorned with uplifting messages and displayed them in various areas for everyone to enjoy.
